Terms of service.
These terms apply when you browse events, book tickets or create an account on this site. Please read them before you buy.
This page is template copy. Have it reviewed for your business and the law where you sell before you publish it.
About this site
This site sells tickets for workshops, talks, festivals and other events on behalf of their organisers. The organiser of each event is responsible for the event itself.
Your account
You can buy tickets as a guest or with an account. Keep your details accurate and your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Tickets
A ticket admits one person to the session it was issued for, once. Each ticket carries its own QR code; anyone holding a copy of it could use it, so keep it to yourself.
A ticket that has been refunded, voided or reissued can no longer be admitted.
Seat holds
Seats you choose are held for you for 10 minutes while you check out. When the time runs out, the seats are released and may be booked by someone else.
Prices and payment
The price of each ticket and any service fee are shown before you pay. You pay on the payment provider's secure page, and your order is confirmed only once the provider confirms the payment.
Changes and cancellations
Organisers may need to change an event's date, time or venue, or cancel it. What happens then is set out in the cancellation and refund policy.
Fair use
To keep tickets available to everyone, you agree not to:
- Buy tickets with automated tools or in bulk to resell them.
- Copy, alter or share ticket codes so that more people can enter.
- Interfere with the site, its checkout or its check-in.
Liability
We work to keep the site available and your bookings accurate, but the site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses outside our control, such as an organiser's decisions about an event.
