Good questions. Straight answers.
Everything you need to know about selling tickets, managing events and using Ticketory.
Yes. Publish a seat layout, assign ticket prices and let attendees choose available seats.
Sales stop immediately. Organisers can review and issue refunds. Tickets for a cancelled event cannot be admitted.
Invite a check-in team member and assign their event access.
An authorised team member submits a refund. Access is revoked while the provider processes it; failed refunds require review.
Seats you choose are held for 10 minutes while you check out. The timer runs on the server's clock, so it is the same on every device. When it runs out, the seats go back on sale and you can choose again.
No. Checkout asks only for your name and email. Create an account with the same email later and verify it, and the order appears under My tickets.
Once the payment is confirmed, the confirmation page shows a pass with its own QR code for each ticket. You can download them as a PDF, add the event to your calendar, and a copy is sent to your email.
Payment opens securely with the provider the organiser has connected, such as Stripe or PayPal. Ticketory never asks for card details on its own pages.
Paid tickets carry a small service fee, shown line by line in your order summary before you pay. Free tickets carry no fee.
Tickets are issued to the name on the order and cannot be resold through Ticketory. If your plans change, contact the organiser; refunds follow the event's cancellation policy.
Every ticket has its own QR code. Staff scan it at the entrance, a ticket is admitted once per session, and a second scan is flagged as a duplicate with the time of the first. Check-in needs a connection, so admissions are never counted twice.
