Cancellation and refund policy.

Plans change. This policy explains what happens to your tickets and your money when an event is cancelled or changed, and how refunds work.

This page is template copy. Have it reviewed for your business and the law where you sell before you publish it.

When an event is cancelled

Sales stop at once and tickets for a cancelled event can no longer be admitted. Every ticket holder is told by email, and the organiser reviews and issues refunds to the original payment method.

When an event changes

If the date, time or venue changes, ticket holders are told by email. Your tickets stay valid for the new details. If you cannot attend after a change, contact us with your order reference to ask for a refund.

Asking for a refund

For other reasons, refunds are at the organiser's discretion. Send us your order reference through the contact form and tell us which tickets you would like refunded.

How refunds work

Refunds are made ticket by ticket:

  • An authorised member of the organiser's team submits the refund.
  • The ticket's access is revoked straight away, so it cannot be used while the refund is processed.
  • The refund is complete only when the payment provider confirms it; a refund that fails is reviewed by the team.

Amounts and timing

A refund returns the price of each refunded ticket and its service fee. The money goes back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 business days of the provider's confirmation, depending on your bank.
